Kereska[]

Kereska (pronounced: /kəˈrɛskɑː/ kuh-RES-kah), the draconic goddess of magic, specifically dragon magic, healing, and magical creativity.

Personality[]

Kereska is often viewed as the kindest and most benevolent of the draconic deities. Some mistake her kindness for a weakness, though those who make that mistake often don't make it twice.

Relationships[]

Kereska prides herself as acting as independently as possible amongst the gods. She does, however, have a close connection to Bahamut.

Avatar[]

Kereska always manifests in the form of a medium sized dragon of everchanging color and variety. The one constant of her avatar's appearance is the magical aura that surrounds her.

Followers & Organizations[]

Kereska is revered by dragons of all kinds, although those who are adept with magic are specially devoted to her. Dragons researching new spells and attempting to stretch their arcane abilities often invoke her name in hopes she'd imbue them with knowledge and power.

Kereska's clerics operate as healers but also deliver death to those who try to escape it. They seek out the undead and purge them from the plane of Malero with righteous fury.

Organization[]

While there is no organized church for the followers of Kereska, they are heavily encouraged to socialize and stay close-knit as a group of allies.

Day-to-Day Activities of the Clergy[]

Most followers of Kereska seek day-in-and-day-out to help others, that help could come in any form from healing to purging a local cave of an undead annoyance.

Temples[]

Temples dedicated to Kereska often serve as hospitals and hospices where the sick or injured are welcomed. Terminally ill dragons are cared for with dignity and respect. when dragons die in one of Kereska's temples, their passing is greeted with a positive light, as a merciful escape from the hardships of life.

Dogma[]

Kereska believes in mercy, both in life and death. Not only will she heal and tend to the needs of the sick and injured, but she will also bring a swift and merciful end to dragon's nearing the end of their natural lives. She fiercely detests those who artificially prolong life, especially against one's will.

"Be merciful and kind to the living and the dying, bring an end to those who would otherwise suffer. Let life take the course as it would naturally and make no attempts to revive or prolong the life of one."

Aside from her own dogma, her followers also practice the Ptarian Code
